Good location, good size rooms
Decor very dated and tired, no air conditioning
If I had any trouble, hotel staff helped me in every time. Especially, when I was late for the flight, they took the room for me on that day at soon. I was so helped.
Staff and localization. The room is big and the view great.
Old fashioned, needs to improve cleaning.
The excelent location.
Old and because of that at the 8th floor we could ear ppl talking on the Robson street.
Location. The only reason for choosing it, along with attached parking lot. Pleasant people at reception.
I really liked having a suite with full kitchen facilities, the view, and all the space.
The curtains had holes in them...
Great location, great view from my room on the 10th floor. Good design, it's like one bedroom apartment. It is much better compare to regular one room in the other hotels
Kitchen was old but I don't care about it because was spending just sleeping hours n hotel
Staff was great, rooms were very clean and in a great location. However the best was having a quaility restaurant with great food right beside the hotel and open till 2:30 am thrusday. Good prices and as said...really good food. Laters
This hotel hits the jackpot for value for money and location. After travelling around Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria our last night was spent at the 'cheap' hotel. It had free wifi and free parking. At our previous 5 star hotels, parking cost us up to $40 per day and wifi was extra. The hotel is certainly very old, but it was clean and for the £75 a real bargin. The bed was comfortable and the white sheets pristine clean. The room was a suite with a kitchenette and lounge room. I highly recommend this hotel. My partner and I are in our early 30s. There is a good size heated swimming pool. The location is excellent. Right on the main Robson street with easy access to the harbour and stanley park.
Keep in mind this is an old style hotel. So enjoy your stay as you step back in time with the olden day carpets and wall papers!
Location, reasonable price, friendly staff, quiet
Internet connection was unusable as it kept cutting out or was non- existent. This was the only real beef, but it would prevent me from re- booking this hotel.
The room size was fantastic!
The only thing that we didn't enjoy was the Kentucky Fried chicken that was still in the oven from the previous guests.....Yuck :(
Great down town location, spacious, very clean one bedroom suite friendly staff excellent value!
helpful staff, suites, good location
somewhat worn (but good price compared to nearby hotels)
It was queit and ideal for me to comute back and forth by foot. The service was pleasant & Courtieous.
The furniture and kitchen items were old and needed replacement. It didn't make me feel like I would want to return.
The convenient location, the size of the suite. Fair value for the price, compared with other hotels in Vancouver. The large windows made the rooms very clear and gave a nice view on the city.
The carpets should be replaced in the rooms as well as in the lobby and elevator. The coach in the room needs to be changed. The windows were dirty.
